Well I am easily discouraged and right now I'm there big time . I had hoped by this point I would be in less pain or none and feel much more able to do what I want .
Dec. 10 - Had the horseshoer come but went out and did 3.5 before he got here I had an average pace of 16:32 ran about .65 just to make sure I could . It didn't seem to effect what's going on one way or another . Still very painful and if I move just right or wrong it makes it nonfunctional
Dec. 11- Walked the dogs at Hidden Valley Ray attacked a German Shepard that was on a leash . I didn't have a leash and ended up dragging him by his collar back to the car 1.85 miles 18:01 pace including breaking up the fight dragging the dog off totally embarrassed .
Dec. 12-14 Did nothing hoping to resolve the pain and it did help
Dec. 15 - Snowing and bitterly cold 0 when I fed the horses and 28 with wind when I went out and did 2.05 running 1.5 of it for an average of 12:54 and a running average of 9:30
Dec 16 - Cold some light snow but we went 4.13 up the Church Hill I ran about 1.5 again . I couldn't have had on more layers and still moved and of course my gut was unhappy with the Christmas crap I ate the day before , barely made it home .
Duke Ray
It was very cold the Hokas do not breathe well but in this cold they are as warm as snow boots .
