November 30 - I do not remember what I did , that's what happens when you don't update regularly
December 1 - Did 3 miles on the trails with Brian and the dogs ran 1.25 in my Hokas. My average pace was 14:50 my running pace was a slow 12:17
December 2 - Massive storm , did 3 on the treadmill ran 1.25 in the Hokas
December 3- I would have loved to run but had massive amounts of horse stuff to do , none of it was fun all of it was hard work and dirty . Left both of knees feeling fairly sore . Right now I don't take any NSAIDs and try really hard to not take them . Went to the OB/Gyn for my annual , so many babies and pregnant women , blood pressure was great 104/68 considering I had to put my clothes back on while waiting, run down and feed the meter and get naked again . Why is ok to schedule and appointment for 9:30 tell you to show up early then make you wait until 10:20 before anyone comes in ?
December 4 - Rode the bike at the gym , did some hill program for 30 minutes and some machines for upper body some leg stuff .
December 5 - Raining again , did the treadmill at the gym 3 miles ran 1.25 in my Hokas . I ran on my favorite, I can see myself in the mirror ( sorta if I wore my glasses it would be much better ) I think I looked pretty normal . I realized , now that I'm running again I have deep thoughts , treadmill running is very much like lunge lessons . You can concentrate only on your position not worrying about who's in control , you can still fall off either one but for the most part you don't have to worry . I started my running with a 10:30 pace and ended with a 9:09 , the treadmill gives you total control over your speed and pace . My HR got up to 155 which it's hard to do walking or biking but pretty easy running .
A box came to work that said it was brownies, how strange and random ? I left it for the boss, it didn't say where it came from just some brownie company ( who knew ? ) . He opened it and it was from one of our vendors for Christmas , individual packages of brownies , he did offer them to me but I was strong and passed .
A couple things for this month I am doing 200 crunches a day until my birthday which will equal 4,200 crunches and hopefully the end of my muffin top . If the world does end on December 21 I will look ok in my jeans . I also bought this funny little thing to balance on at home , while reading the reviews it said people used it for work to sit on . I had looked at ball chairs or just a ball in the past but didn't do anything about it . Last night I crocheted weenie warmers , yes you read that right , while standing on the balance disk and I'm pretty proud of that . Today is the first day at work with it and by 8:30 my low back and upper back muscles feel strained like I have been giving them a work out . I know my job sitting is killing me slowly but I can already see the benefits of this thing . I am sitting up or I would fall off it on to the floor . I like it a lot you can stand on it with both feet and it is only $13 . I got two one for home to stand on one for work to sit on . You do have to add some air when you get them to make it right for you .
