Thanksgiving

We have had a hard year but still have much to be thankful for . Today because I was cooking I could only fit in an 8 mile run from home . I no longer have a running companion and Brian has hurt his knee at work so he couldn't ride. Rather than let me head off into the wild by myself he came along on the ATV . It's was around 40 degrees with wind gusting to 20mph , not my favorite weather for running but it was dry .

This is the no name single track that heads down a canyon to a stock pond . Originally it was a cow path , Brian started riding his bike down it . He would carry his bike from the fire road a couple hundred feet so the motorcycle guys wouldn't see his tracks . They did find it but don't use it much so it is nice and fun to run or ride , it's about 1 mile . From the stock pond we come back up on a fire road or go back up the single track .
This is the fire road at the top of the single track . The mountain over my right shoulder is Seven Lakes Mountain near the Nevada California border . I have more pictures but still can't figure out how to post them in the order I want and still add text .

Happy Thanksgiving
